As a reminder: when you visit the community garden at St Clements Church this afternoon for our Spring Fair, you’ll also have the chance to donate to Micklegate’s food support scheme, The Collective Sharehouse.
Ideal food donations to The Collective Sharehouse: they are grateful for any tinned/packet non-perishable foods. They would especially welcome tinned meats – especially ham or corned beef, UHT whole milk, cooking oil, coffee, microwaveable packets & pots, laundry detergents, and household cleaning sprays & cloths.
Financial donations can also be made on Sunday, in cash or via a QR code at their stall.
The Collective Sharehouse is a local ‘give as you can, take as you need’ community food support offering help to residents in financial hardship within the Micklegate area of York. During three sessions every week, based at Clements Hall, they offer non-perishable foods along with personal and household hygiene products to anyone from the Micklegate area who’s finding they need a bit of extra support in these challenging times.
