If you’re out meeting folk and picking up cool stuff on the Street-re-Cycle (midday to 3pm today, list of addresses here and at Sainsbury’s on Bishopthorpe Road), why not call in to the community garden on your way (2pm onwards)?
Maybe you’ve looked over the railings of the garden, next to St Clements Church on Scarcroft Road, and would like to know more about what we’re growing there?
This Sunday is one of our regular fortnightly open gardening sessions, and you’re welcome to call by for a chat about the garden (maybe find out why we call it The Nose !), discover our community composting scheme, have a bit of a sit-down or maybe to try your hand at a bit of weeding?
Everyone welcome, 2 to 3pm.
