Gardening through the drizzle

The Nose was one of the participants in Edible York’s Open Gardens event on Saturday, and the Yorkshire weather was certainly not co-operating. In the intermittent drizzle, a grand total of 5 people called by, including a baby (hello, Abigail!), over the 3 hours. Although it was lovely to see those who did make it, let’s hope for better weather next time!

I suppose it is sort-of becoming autumn, but the community gardening will continue until it becomes too wintry to be pleasant … and the next massed gardening session will be next Sunday 14th September, from 2pm. Come and join us, to find out what’s in season (still lots and lots of rocket), and what our plans are for the next year.
