York Open Eco Homes weekends of 14 & 21 May 2016 2-5pm

Organised by St Nicks:

Learn how to turn your house into an efficient & comfortable eco home – from people who have done it! Visit living demonstrations of energy saving measures such as draught-proofing, insulation, low energy lighting, renewable heating or electricity generation & other green living choices. Be inspired by the event hosts’ stories and get tips on how to give an eco makeover to your own, or rented, home. Even small, low cost measures can make a big difference. Go and ask lots of questions, and learn from both good and bad experiences of the event hosts.
